It performs self-health checks – including monitoring smoke chamber sensitivity and device status. Any malfunction or dirty chamber condition is reported to the panel for maintenance
• Easy Installation & Maintenance: Mounts on included twist-lock ceiling/base plate (sounder vents through the sides). Features a large Test/Hush button on the front: a short press tests the alarm, a press during alarm will hush a nuisance alarm for a few minutes (if smoke is not too dense). Low battery signals and end-of-life notifications keep you informed
